I've been lurking on the inq28 forums again and duly inspired decided to have another go at a single character. Up to this point the only completed model I had to show for it was Inquisitor Ney and that was over a year ago. At some point in building his warband I felt as though I was chasing a cliche: He was potentially becoming a shadow of Eisenhorn. What I think I should have been doing is building my Inquisitor from his agents: My decisions about his retinue informing the nature of the central character. Maybe next time.

I managed to get some wyches and a hellion test model completed. I was having a lot of difficulty with the wych suits both units were wearing. In my last DE post I mentioned the problems I'd encountered over saturating the models with highlights. It may not be perfect but I'm happy with the result; A balance between the too dark and too bright that I'd struggled with.

|Proper care of brushes is part of hobby organization that can fall by the wayside.|
A lack of organization creeps up on me. Over the course of the month I've happily whiled away at my hobby station with the "working area" gradually diminishing to a point where I was hard-pressed to find purchase for anything but my hands and the model I was painting at the time. It begins innocently enough with a couple of paint pots I'm working at, a couple brushes I'm switching between and then a detritus of model parts, partial paper clips, you get the idea.I took some time to do a bit of hobby maintenance as a result. The usual putting things back where they belong but I decided I'd do a bit of premature Spring cleaning on my brush collection.
